Hello, I'm Emmarose
I'm a New York-based performer with a B.F.A in Theatre and a minor in Dance from Emerson College. Originally from Tennessee and Pennsylvania, I spent several years in Boston post-college before making the jump to New York. I love to travel and have toured as a Company Manager in the past. I consider myself a modern day renaissance woman, and take pride in being skilled in all aspects of my work- from to performance to designing and everything in between.
I am also an educator, with several years of experience working with kids of all ages throughout PA, MA, and NY. I currently teach ballet, jazz, and musical theatre at Forever Young Studio in LIC.
As a human, I am incredibly detail based and love finding the nuances that can take something from good to great. I am a collaborative creator, and as a dancer I have a particular passion for movement-based works and the stories we can tell without words. I think my holistic approach when it comes to working in theatre helps me remain grounded and easy-going, and I have respect for people in all aspects of our industry- from the box office to the limelight.
In the past I have worked with Gershwin Entertainment, the Seacoast Repertory Theatre, RWS Entertainment, Greater Boston Stage Company Youth Company and Brandeis University, along with multiple student theatre groups at Emerson College.
